Africa Center for Animal Sentience (ACAS)

Main Goal: To promote conservation and animal welfare through the protection of nature, recognition of animal sentience, and safeguarding of wildlife.

Objectives:

1. Strengthen policy and legal frameworks that recognize animal sentience and advance conservation and animal welfare standards.

2. Promote protection and sustainable management of ecosystems and wildlife through evidence-based conservation approaches.

3. Support implementation and compliance by engaging governments, institutions, and stakeholders in coordinated animal welfare and conservation action.
